Ki Futures provides training, workshops, coaches, and an international network of cultural professionals, sustainability specialists, and partner organizations. The website is developed with WordPress to offer a pleasing look and experience. Users can discover professional coaches from many nations to gain advice on modern art and other aspects of cultural heritage.

The project was co-created with international sustainability and culture experts and draws on practical solutions, inspiration, and collaboration from other industries. It assists participants in establishing sustainability projects (such as green teams) within their personal and professional networks.

The Challenge

Seamlessly migrating content, developing a responsive theme, mapping coach profiles

Ki Future approached exhiByte with the following requirements:
1. Create a 5 page website and all its content including posts and media from one multisite to another – https://www.kiculture.org/ to https://www.kiculture.org/ki-futures/
2. Create a responsive WordPress theme for the new site.
3. Migrate and properly map the coach profiles to the new site.
4. Add payment gateway for the donation.

The Solution

Efficient wordPress development with ACF Integration

We built two advanced, WordPress-based CMS websites under the Enterprise WordPress platform, with WordPress CLI being the most stable and secure platform to build, maintain.

A central backend system was built using the Push and Pull API System on a Core PHP Framework. Now, whenever a visitor’s search for any coach with location or any other information, the information is relayed to the central system, where it then passes on to the other website for enhanced collaboration.

Through the Rest API, we also synchronized the news and post elements. And to achieve this we used the Advance Custom Field plugin. We took a comprehensive approach to website development and maintenance, emphasizing the use of Bitbucket for version control and collaboration, WordPress CLI for efficient WordPress management, and WP Engine for hosting the live website, ensuring a seamless transition between development and the live environment.
